![]() ![]() As an independent developer, I don't have any deadlines or limitations making Hellish Quart, so I believe that early involvement of the Players will only be beneficial. As I'm making this game mostly alone and with a limited budget, I want You - the Players - to be involved in testing and improving the game.įeedback and suggestions from the core audience are essential for this game's final form. The controls must be tight, the animations must be perfect to the millisecond, the balance must be ideal, as well as the difficulty tiers. Enjoy.“Fighting games are a specific genre. You can write your questions and/or opinions on the game. Game also lacks exposure and I don't want people to miss this beauty. Definitely check it out and support the devs since they are a small team and there are lots to do yet it seems. There are 3 characters available atm and 4th one is on its way. There will supposedly be a story mode in full release. As a player who ddidn't play many of the fighting games, I got into it pretty easily. Game is really easy to learn yet hard to master. There is grapple (WIP) and clash sword button which also act as an attack modifier button also. You can also feint attacks by moving back at any time of the animation which also effects the strenght of the attack - again because of the physics- so you can follow through, risking a counter or do some tippy taps which might not be lethal to your opponent. This plays an important role because of the physics nature of the game. They are also direction sensitive therefore your attack animations changes when you are retreating, dashing forward or moving to the sides. There are 4 attack buttons and they can be strung together. No visible health bars or stamina bars. The view is from the side as we are used to from most other fighting games Let me touch some of the game's mechanics from my demo experiences so far: A free demo is available on Steam for you to try it out atm. It utilizes UE4 engine and I might say it looks pretty impressive. To those who are unaware of the game, Hellish Quart is a physics based realistic dueling game. Hellish Quart (steam store page) dev announced the game's release date as in the recently released update video. ![]()
